General Terms & Conditions
Last Review: June 10, 2011
MBA Center encourages each Student to read the General Terms and Conditions (including Payment and Refund Policy applied by default across the MBA Center network of training centers) to acknowledge specific procedures before signing up for any class. The MBA Center Administrator remains available for any additional question. Note that these Terms and Conditions are available on the MBA Center website, in each respective MBA Center country website. It is the responsibility of each participant to read, understand and apply these terms and respect them until they complete their course at the MBA Center. No exception to these terms shall be made possible under any circumstances.
I-INTENSIVE AND SEMI-INTENSIVE COURSES:
Test preparation is offered in the form of group courses (intensive or semi-intensive) with a compulsory minimum of 3 participants or individual courses (coaching and private classes). Schedule of group courses is determined in advance by the MBA Center Administrator (hereafter referred to as Administrator) in accordance with the Student’s choice. The Student will be informed in advance of any possible changes with a minimum notice of 24 hours. The Administrator reserves the right to postpone any group course at any time if less than 3 students are enrolled. The Administrator reserves the right to select an appropriate location of its choice to hold the course. Any change of location will be notified by email or by phone to each Student. Notifications will be sent to the students with reasonable notice.
Private classes are scheduled in advance, in agreement between the Student, the Instructor and the Administrator. Any proposition of a schedule change by the Student must be addressed in person or by telephone to the Administrator, and not to the Instructor. If the Student cancels a class less than 24 hours in advance, the hours scheduled are billed in full and no exception can be made to this policy under any circumstances. If the Student cancels a class more than 24 hours in advance, the class is rescheduled according to the Student’s and the Instructor’s availability. No schedule change is considered official until it is approved and registered by the Administrator. Due to the nature of our service, any private or coaching hour should be billed. An invoice should be issued in all cases, even if the Student and the Instructor have continued their training with no prior registration for these specific hours. A Student will therefore be required to proceed to signing up for additional training and payment should be made no later than 24 hours following registration.
III-PAYMENTS OF TUITION:
Any registration for classes or programs must be paid in full no later than 24 hours before the first class by the Student or by a third party (employer, state office, educational foundation, etc.). Acceptable payment methods are by bank check (drawn from an internationally-recognized bank), bank transfer, credit card (preferrably VISA and MasterCard), Paypal or cash. Payment must be made in Euros. Discounts are only applicable to semi-intensive and intensive courses, only once confirmed by the Administrator in writing. Each discount will only be granted once per student and shall not be cumulable. Special terms and conditions apply to Instalment Plans, which are only attributed to students under serious economic stress and circumstances. Only the Director of the MBA Center can authorize such use of an Instalment Plan.
IV-CANCELLATION AND REIMBURSEMENT:
A strict no-refund policy applies to all group and private tutoring at the MBA Center. The MBA Center registration form guarantees that a Student has read the cancellation and reimburserment terms herein as part of the General Terms & Conditions and has fully accepted these terms. Semi-intensive courses: Students wishing to cancel their enrollment in semi-intensive courses and be reimbursed the amount paid should only be granted by the MBA Center Administrator the right to postpone their course for up to 12 months from the day of enrolment indicated on the registration form or, alternatively, from the day the payment of the tuition has been issued by the Student. Intensive, private and express courses: tuition paid for intensive, private, and express classes cannot be reimbursed. Note that the default choice to any reimbursement enquiry shall be the postponement of the course.
V-REGISTRATION FOR TESTS:
Responsibility for registration and payment for official exams is entirely that of the Student.
VI-SPECIAL CONDITIONS: FORMATION CONTINUE & DROIT INDIVIDUEL À LA FORMATION (or DIF, exclusively applicable in France):
In France, any downloadable registration form is not considered valid for registration under Formation Continue and Droit Individuel à la Formation (DIF) with the MBA Center Paris. Please contact the MBA Center Paris for more information regarding registration under these circumstances.
